We’re excited to announce support for native Apple Silicon and Monterey (macOS 12).

This update is free for any existing user. You can simply download the latest version from the User Area.


The following product version (or newer) supports Apple silicon natively:


  • Auto-Align 1.6.3

  • Drum Leveler 1.2.1

  • Muteomatic 1.0.3

  • Pi 1.1.2

  • POWAIR 1.1.3

  • SurferEQ 2.1.1

  • SurferEQ Boogie 1.0.7


The following product version (or newer) are qualified with Monterey running under Rosetta:


  • Auto-Align Post 2.0.1


Non-Native Apple Silicon:

Currently, AAX and ARA formats have no native arm64 (Apple silicon).

We will update this document as they’ll be supported.


Can I use ARA with Apple Silicon Mac?

Yes. However, you’ll need to run your host in Rosetta.


Known Issues:


  • (Apple Silicon) Audio-Unit / Logic - plug-in editor might still consume resources even when closed. Workaround: N/A. this should be addressed in a future macOS/Logic update.

  • Plugins might fail to load under macOS 10.11 and 10.12.
