Because Auto-Align Post looks at the entire audio file to do its job, it requires hosts that provide this data to the plug-ins. Currently, only Pro Tools offers this functionality directly. Other DAW's implemented Celemony's ARA2 extension which allows similar functionality.
We're currently working to implement VST3 and AU support with ARA2 extension, which will require a compatible host to work. Currently, ARA2 is supported in Studio One Pro V4, Apple Logic Pro X 10.4.2 and others. Steinberg and Cockos have announced upcoming support as well and we believe more DAW's will support it in the near future.
Update: Auto-Align Post 2 introduces ARA2 support under VST3.
AudioUnit / Logic Pro X support is expected in a future update.
